#8: Amy Winehouse- “Valerie”
Every night when I’m driving, I always wish there was, like , this telephone number where I could just call up this eternally interested person, and just talk about how much I love Amy Winehouse & how it relaxes me to imagine her waking up in the morning and putting on blue jeans, & how it somehow hurts that she does not do that here anymore.
I am that hotline. I listen to her every night before I go to sleep and I still can’t believe I’ll never get to meet her. I can’t believe I’ll never see her sing. I can’t believe she’ll never make any more music to just bless the rest of mankind with. I just cannot believe that she’ll never get to wake up and put on her blue jeans anymore.
